Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-13
Arc OS (arc-os.co) is operated as a closed beta for friends-and-family
testers under the invite-code program (Phase 52.1). These terms govern your
use of the service while the beta is active. They will be revised before
general availability.
1. Beta status
- The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.
- Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
- We may suspend or terminate access at any time, for any reason, including to protect platform stability or other users.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the service.
- Use the platform to generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the operator's (Ukraine / EU).
- Attempt to access other users' projects, data, or workspaces. Multi-tenancy is enforced at every API boundary; circumvention attempts are an immediate account termination.
- Attempt to exfiltrate, leak, or otherwise compromise platform secrets, including but not limited to OAuth keys, API tokens, or vault contents.
3. Your content
- You retain full ownership of code, prompts, conversations, and any other content you submit through the platform.
- We process this content only to deliver the service:
- storing it in your project's isolated workspace,
- forwarding it to AI providers you have configured (Anthropic, OpenAI),
- generating semantic search indices (NotebookLM bridge).
- We do not train models on your content.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer your content to third parties outside of the AI providers necessary to fulfil your requests.
4. AI provider relationships
- Arc OS forwards prompts to Anthropic Claude by default. Your project may use your own API key (BYOK mode) or platform-supplied trial credits.
- Each AI provider has its own terms — by using their integration through Arc OS, you also accept their applicable terms.
- Anthropic's terms: https://www.anthropic.com/legal
- Trial credits are provided as a courtesy. We may revoke or rate-limit trial usage if abuse is detected.
5. Security
- Authentication tokens are HMAC-SHA256 JWTs with 24-hour TTL.
- Chat content at rest is AES-256-GCM encrypted (Phase 45 E2EE).
- Master keys are derived from your password client-side via PBKDF2 and are never transmitted to or stored on the server in plaintext form.
- If you suspect a security incident, contact
[email protected].
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arc OS, its operators, and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service — including, without limitation, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of profits.
The total liability of Arc OS, in aggregate, shall not exceed the amount you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim (currently $0 — the service is a free beta).
7. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be announced via:
- The
@arcos_beta_feedbackTelegram channel, and - A banner in the application for at least 7 days.
Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
